Anyone know a 2002 Silver TA with a Vortec supercharger?

Hey I was at the Speedway gas station on Green Bay and Bender. At around 7:30 and a silver Trans Am pulls up. I talk to the guy inside and he says it has a vortec supercharger with 530 rwhp. It ran 12.1 in the quarter with a 1.8 60 ft on the stock 275s. I noticed a borla exhaust and he had a T-56. The weird thing was when I said my dad has a black 2002 with a T-56, he asked what's a T-56?

hahaha. i had a stock car and ran those times :) and that was before i stripped it of weight. poor bastard. Seems like a good number of cars coming out this year. Too bad Tommy and me are gonna have a clean sweep :) well atleast Tommy, ha

Could be one of the guys that DOES or DID work at Staytuned in waukesha. My car was 14.1 and i had a encounter with him. He only had about a car on me. And yes it had a blower, and yes he was trying. But thats the only silver TA blown I have ever seen.

Just for the record im not trying to sound like a co-ck or anything or talk like i got the best sh-it around, I know i dont but anyone in the know cant help but laugh at such a large sum of money cant even get you out of the 12's when all it took was a $300 cam and some basic bolt ons to make enough rwhp to get my car into the 11's. I actually went 12.1 @ 116 on my stock 10 bolt cutting 1.9-2.0 60 fts.

Tom you just took the words right out of my mouth! With an LS1 and a set of headers and cam and maybe exhaust and intake should easily put you in those numbers!! The dude just spent probably around 4 to 5 grand with install on the vortech blower! Thats about what those run now dont they? I know they are not cheap in any way!

5000+ for the kit, and another $700 for install, and another 400 for tuning. :)

yah thats why i never bought a vortec-dyno queens--hell i did better than him on my home ported heads and 2:73's with my 554/575 cam---weird

Wow if i had the money that guy spent in my little fiero I'd gladly be running 10's. Well I can't do anything bout the money situation but if you want you can stop by me on highway, I'm usually makin laps around Speedway and going down to wherever the hell i feel like turning around. If you want to waste your gas i'll race ya, but i can guarantee i won't get anything on you but my first two gears, and even then i probly won't get past first with most of ya. If you want you can stop by when i'm at speedway and give me a ride in your car, i'll throw some bux for gas. BTW my names Cory.:rockwoot:
