Just curious if anyone had there cars dynod @ west bend dyno. I have to go back in april and re tune. I scand the car after a new flex pipe and y pipe.and my a/f ratio is @14.0 @wot.. I have noticed after forrest tuned it the driveabilty sucks.it barely starts in the cold. Anyone else spend $1000 to tune their car? I think that's a lot of $ to tune car. Brads a great guy,but that's a lot . My parameters are kinda weird, @ wot a/f ratio 14.0 my Lt's ~.05 so its pull fuel. But its lean wtf and I'm only @13 degrees of timing. Anyone else spend that much? $1000+ to tune

Yeah $1,000 seems a little steep. Letting forest touch your car was the first mistake. PM Badls1. He does the tuning there now.

Yes , I've talked to tom and he told me to talk to brad and I did but it didn't seem to help ,another $300+ to tune again. Going through divorce now and don't have much $ rite now so go figure.

Ya I wantd to go with tom, but it was the street tuning . Didn't want to take the chance,of speeding ticket, or worse an accident, cause some elderly couple didn't c stop sign. Just thought the dyno was the safest way to tune.

We live out on empty country roads. Street tuning is easy out by me and Tom.

Lol id prefer to do it on the dyno if i can get this taken care of for the guy being its technically a "re-work". The credits are already on brads cable and i dont trust riding shotgun really with many people anymore.

I talked to Brad and they way this was left was that it was a done deal the last time it left the shop and wasnt in need of anymore work at the time. So im not sure how much hes going to budge on the cost for the dyno time and to have me tune it. As i explained in a prior PM its going to cost almost as much for me to get the ability do it on the street. I dont have anything to do with the buisness end of WBD so i cant really lean on Brad to do anything different.

The only other option thats CHEAP is to contact mr. F at his new shop because he may take care of you and cross your fingers by some miracle that he can manage to make it work.

I cant stress enough to make sure the car is in 100% tip top shape before tuning it, I will not troubleshoot some issue thats outside of tuning for free.

$1000?

Care to elaborate on this? WB Dyno does not charge anything near that to do a tune, they never have. The most I have ever seen is $450.

PM Me the story, I can lean on Brad if need be.

OK,

From Brad, The last time it was in, that was supposed to be it. There were no complaints or "issues" to be spoken of untill recently and this car was tuned quite some time ago.

Also, there has been modifications to the car since it was tuned, Exhaust and it was also mentioned to me by Brad that the customer was talking about changed pulleys and spacers of some sort. Therefore this would not be a repair to a current tune in the car anyways but a totally different Tune.

With Brads authority I speak for West Bend Dyno Tuning when I say that the car will not be re-tuned free of charge as it is not in the same configuration it was when it was last tuned and there were no complaints with the tune until now.

If the customer wishes to have the car re-tuned West Bend Dyno can most definitly handle that and the tuning would be done by Tom himself.

Contact Brad at 262-692-9035 with any further questions or concerns.

Badls1 the problem wasn
't fixed I just put a new flex pipe, and y pipe, and saw I was lean w/LT's ~5.5 w/ a/f ratio 14.0 kinda screwd up . I can feed it more gas but it just goes back to14.0
