Alright, so im ordering some brakes for my 02 vw gti 1.8t.

while im limiting the option to what kind of make, year, engine my car is, i come to one that say "1.8l/1781cc" and one that says "1.8l/1780"

if someone knows that that means, help me out please because i dont have a clue :stare

I think it's the same engine. The only thing I could think of would be that one is a non-turbo version, but I don't think there is a vw 1.8 non-turbo. For sure not in 2002 atleast.

Your front driver side brake pad *MAY* have a wear sensor in it. Not sure if it went off yet or maybe it's already by-passed. Just something you may want to check into. Most people buy vw parts from ecstuning.com. Hope this helps.

Are they fancy brakes or just stock replacement?

yea thanks alot, the sensor hasnt gone off.

im gonna go with cross-drilled and slotted like i did on my camaro with some ebc pads.

thanks for the help guys. its so weird, cuz i limit the search for an 02 vw GTI 1.8. and im getting rotors with 6 lug holes. im like ?? and then theres some with 5, maybe summits just screwing up on me lol :wow

dude- you don't own a camaro anymore so you can't shop at summit. For all things german visit http://www.vwvortex.com and do some homework before you buy parts you might not want or need.
