Anyone ever buy a car from Canada?

Just wondering if anyone on here has ever bought a car from canada or knows anyone that has?

and if you came into having any problems getting the car into the usa. and if you had any problems at the DMV with the car.

i kid i go to school with picked up a 94 jetta from canada. He mustn't have had any problems getting it into the states

From cars from Canada that I saw get titled, the only problem is figuring the accurate mileage on the ODO. Have the actual number of Kilometers converted to Miles from Kilometers and you are good to go. I think it is 1.6KM/MI. Other than an insignificant snag like that, no problems that I have ever personally seen.

I know plenty of people that have bought cars from Canada. They all own Camaros and Fireturds.

iirc (this was WAY back in ~ 2002 or so), it had everything to do with proving he now owned the car and for some reason, I recall paying of taxes or something like that. I wish I could give precisely what occurred, I just recalled it was a hassle that kept him at the border for some 6 hours or so and ended up costing him money.
