Armour Coatings in Germantown. I met with the owner, Charlie, who gave me a walk through of the facility. We had a large frame put through bead blast, white primer, and safety yellow top coat. Charlie did us a huge favor, $80.

He said to go ahead and send "friends" his way as times are slowing down for him and he can squeeze the occasional project through. He is currently doing his own full rotisserie Camaro right now. He's a great guy and seems truly passionate about quality and vehicle projects.

So, I don't want to ruin this "in" for myself. If you have anything you want pushed through, please PM me and I'll set it up. I will continue to use Armour for my work related projects, so I need all references to me and my name professional.

He said he would put together a price sheet for basic stuff like suspension parts, motorcycle parts, snowmobile parts, etc and e-mail it to me. Once I get that I will post it up so you guys/gals can see if your project needs powder.

check on valve covers and upper intake lid powdercoated chrome. I know it's not chrome dipped but the finish looks like chrome.

This is the correspondence I received from Armour Coatings. They give these a guidelines until they see your specific items. They are in Germantown and we plan on bringing plenty of stuff from XACT (my workplace) over there in the next few months. If you want to drop them off in Menomonee Falls (for convenience) we will take them over with our stuff. If you want to go to Armour directly, Charlie (the owner) said he was happy to have you guys stop by and check the place out.

So looks like they will powdercoat the hub part of you brake rotors? Is that 60-90 per rotor?

Also is that $60 for each caliper?

Any direct question, just e-mail Charlie. They quoted me $285 to bead blast and powdercoat my project. Dropped it off, picked it up the next day. I was billed $80.

It all depends on how difficult it is to blast the part and prepare the surface. Depending on what color you want, they may be running it that day. Charlie is really a great guy and totally reasonable.

I told him I was openening the "flood gate" tonight, so go ahead and e-mail away!

Thanks,

Shaun
