Yes they do have potential. a buddy of mine has one and it moves. His is all rusty you see him on why sometimes messing with the imports. It needs a clutch now.

I remember popular science or mechanics did a sport compact test on those way way back in the late 80's and got low 17's out of those things...which for the time wasn't horrendus for such a small car.
