A couple shitty camera-phone pics of the motor. Spent the better part of the weekend in the garage. Got the motor torn down. Installed the new heads, intake, rails and injectors. Figured out and installed the puzzle that was the Ford A/C delete. The puzzle that is the generic March alternator bracket is still a work in progress.

Ran into a few issues: Right valve cover doesn't clear the rockers, gonna have to massage the baffle. Left valve cover needs to be clearanced to fit the rockers. Strut tower brace won't clear the intake. From the looks of things the hood won't clear the intake. Oil filler cap cannot be removed with strut tower brace installed. Looks like there will be some interference between the strut tower brace and the cold air intake. Couldn't install the egr delete; throttle body has bonded itself to the egr plate, vice and a hammer should fix that tomorrow.

All minor set backs. Might go with aftermarket valve covers and solve three problems, maybe two lefts with a filler cap put in one. Gonna have to move one of the bends in the strut tower brace to clear the intake. Might just take a jig saw to the hood to clear the intake.

Looks like more nice weather this week end! Hopefully I'll have her burning gas then.

Doesn't run now. Still need to hit the junk yard and get a electric fan and a plug for the alternator. I also have to put the trans in it, yet, before I can fire it. I wanted to get the trans in before working on the motor, but the floor was sweating and leaking, so I opted to not lay on it.

There is a C&L MAF sitting in one of the many, many boxes of parts in the car. But I'll keep that in mind.

nice set of coil overs. what brand?

Bilstein struts, Maximum Motorsports coil overs, their CC plates as well. Matching shocks and coils in the rear. It's a Starter Box upgraded to front coil overs. I have uninstalled Alston Race cars LCA's and a BBK STB. I may sell them and get MM items. I'm rather impressed with MM so far. You ever get that blazer together?
