im leaning towards the idea of refinishing my wheels. im looking to have the outer surface of the spokes polished, and painting the inner surfaces. (painintg i can handle...just looking to have the polishing done)
is there any place that anyone could recommend?
reason being..i want a new look for the car. im redoing the interior to a more OE look..red (all white 73 240s came with red interior) and i dont think the gold wheels will look right
thanks

After the shiny bits are polished, can powder coating be done on those inner areas? That might be better than painting it.

yea...but in order to do so would require taking the wheels apart (3pc). with the heat required for powder, im a little hesitant to do so. (especially for a small, not very visible, out of the way of debris, part of the wheel.) if for some reason the powder screwed up and needed to redo them, the heat cycles could screw up the tolerances, and i could have a potential problem of getting the wheels back together and sealing properly. (this has happened with with my rear a-arms)
so i think painting should be fine..and cheaper. if these were a 1pc wheel and i was doing the entire wheel, i would definitely be powdering.
