For the APS-C crown this looks like a lower priced alternative to the Canon 10-22 ($700-ish) or the Nikon 14-24 2.8 ($1600-ish). With the previous model of this being the 4-5.6 model the constant apeture is a welcome addition. The usual questions of overall comparative Sigma IQ will remain (especially when compared to the Nikon 14-24) but with the Canon model sitting at a $700 price point, not constant apeture and not in Canon's fabled "L" line the Sigma 10-22 f3.5 may be a a better suited ticket to those wants a nice wide angle lens.
No pricing that I am aware of yet but I would suspect $650 if they are smart.
