What have you accomplished / are you going to accomplish before spring hits and it's time to get the car out?

I just ordered parts to redo my exhaust, I bought a new bumper and front air dam (factory stuff) and am going to build my own DFLI box (direct fire leading ignition).

I pushed it all the way over in the garage, touching the wall. I spit at it a couple of times and kicked it once. Thats about it.

Still plugging away at the EFI swap when it gets warmer out, which this winter has been like 2 days. May take off Friday to work on it some more. Most of the wiring is ran.

Other then that, built a new sub box and amp rack for the heck of it.

been workin on an old s10 blazer I bought off of here. boredom set in so I've been working on fixing rust and driveability issues such as tie rods, brakes, and stuff of that nature.

Traded my car in for a truck, added vent visors and a tonneau cover. Couple more things I would like to do detail wise but might get done this weekend. Some day I will get pictures of it up on this site

fixed the oil leak twice, new solenoid, new cable end to the starter, new rear axle seal, new wheel cyl, new front brakes, custom lights in the grill, took off the cap, installed cb antennas, stage II intake, changed the oil of course, and this weekend the 40 channel will be wired up.

the toyota umm i put the battery in and started it moved it about it lol

Sold the Integra today. Picked up some wheels for it. selling stock wheels & misc. parts to recoup money spent on wheels instead of just tires. After tax season, etc. if I have the spare cash, more appearance mods gettin' done.

cobalt= tuned/ 2.4l intake mani,poly bushings all around, maybe a bottle.

other car=other stuff hopefully it will be done mid summer or fall no rush.

putting in a new auto transmission w/ 2800 stall tomorrow! cars been sitting for a month and im dying to drive it again. I also bought a used green WS6 hood and wired up some temporary green LED's in the ram air scoop. :burnout

t-tops are definitaly coming off friday. lol

List is long...New engine getting finished up, new turbo, new prototype clutch, new cooling system being designed, new fuel system stuff, extra monkey bars for the roll cage, parachute, window net, weight reduction (tasteful amount only), new driver seat, new 3" intercooler piping, new custom 5".5"-to-5" intake pipe with 5" inlet 7"x12" K&N, new radiator, new coil-on-plug ignition (spare), etc.

As well, I am working on building two spare race transmissions, a spare transfer case, and some other spare driveline parts.

I am going to install my old race engine with a cylinder head on it to mock up the new downpipe, intercooler pipe, and intake pipe I need to fab, along with using it to prep dimensions for the cooling system and -20AN lines.

Time flies when you are having fun! I just hope to get on the dyno by April, and ready to go by July (with the cage updates)! Got a big race in August that I am preparing the most for.

Shooting for high-8's with a bit of luck!

Ford Racing 3.73 gears (appointment set for March 23rd)
Meguiar's DA polisher and 10 step kit to fix the clearcoat

I'm pretty excited to get my car out of storage, just going to take a few days to get the mods on and then I'm going to just cruise around a bunch this summer. I don't think I'll track the car at RA or GLD, but I will be at every show and cruise event possible.

wheels & tires, five lug/big brakes, working transmission, heads, intake, smog + a/c delete, fuel pump, 3g alternator, straight door and fender, strut tower brace, sunframe cnnectors, upper and lower control arms, new speakers, quick ratio rack & pinion, 'glass hatch, '79 style spoiler, upper and lower control arms. all waiting to me installed. I still need to get shocks, struts and springs, gears, diff, electric fan. maybe headlights and louvers. as soon as work slows and the weather gets better i'll start wrenchin'. prolly do heads and intake this weekend.

got a couple pieces of polished stainless for under the hood..brake fluid resevore cover traction controle module cover.(already had battery and fuse box covers) and chrome door sill replacments....(girlfriend got me those for x-mas)

i bought new
DMH electric cutout
coated headers(replaceing old painted/rusted ones)
160 degree t-stat
speedinc highflow fuel rails(silver)
install kit for rails(black anodized fittings)
speed inc polished billet valve covers
coil relocation kit
5.3l stage 2.5 heads

during the winter i also fixed a little curb rash that i had on one of my TT2's i sanded it down smooth and repolished it..you can barely tell i hit that curb :)

thats all i can think of now.

New 255 in stang. Hope it cures the problem. Sold trans in orange one now waiting for betta weather tohopefully mill the domes off the pistons. Sold my BBC in the garage, built a shortblock, ported 6 sets of vortecs, Monte i just need to adjust the clutch linkage. Need to port out another 3 sets of vortecs yet....whew! Hopeully orange one summer 09.

Just a couple pretty-up things.

Plenum cover and extension, fuel rail covers, strut tower brace, billet strut tower caps, stainless fuse box cover, billet pedal covers, carbon fiber interior kit, repainted spoilers front and back.

Taking it out for the first time tonight. :)

Bought, painted & aligned a 4" cowl hood. <-----Okay, my wife bought for me for Christmas.

Put a cold air intake system on and I can't believe the power difference it made. TPI duct work must be pretty restrictive. I'm goin to WBD next Thursday/Friday to re-tune it.

New cap & rotor, MSD Plug wires & loom kit. As you see in my avatar, the wires were all in disarrangement.

Bought an '88 350 SBC 4-bolt main to start building a new motor. Over time (probably not this summer but next) have a healthy 396sbc. :headbang

Re-routing the fuel lines, upgrading the return size, testing & cleaning the injectors, removed AIR tubes off the headers, general clean up under the hood/wiring, remove smog pump with delete pulley, upgraded steering shaft from a late model Jeep on my Monte LS.

Lately I putzed with my daily beater LeSabre too, converting it from the sidesweeping grandpa speedo to full gauge cluster from another car, new dashpad to replace the warped one.

Hells yeah. It's supposed to snow and be 50 on Sunday (?) but I'm hoping we're done. Got my gauges, got my exhaust, got my MSD coils... and today, I'm headed to the shop to hang some new lights up, so next week it'll be time...
