taking wheels apart

im thinking of having my 3pc wheels powder coated a differrent color. ive heard rumors that my wheels (work equip 03s) need to be pressed apart and pressed back together. i know there is alot involved with sealing them, and getting good surface-surface mating....so is there anyone on here that has any experience, or could recommned any respectable shops?
