First day without radiation! Whoo hoo!!

The last 6 weeks of radiation in my brain has been FUKKING NASTY! I am so glad this shit is done I cant even tell ya. It was nice to be able to wake up and not be running around trying to get a ton of shit done with my 2 hours window before the treaments knocked me out. The last 3 weeks I ended up in the er EVERYWEEK due to some complication, side effect or illness and the thought of going a week without some incident is very promising! For those that arent familiar with brain radiation, the full onset of symptoms dont occur for 7-10 AFTER the last treatment but knowing I wont have to smell that lazer or taste metal anymore is ok with me:thumbsup I should be on my way to a semi-normal life within 3 more months and hopefully healed up with a year if I have anything to say/do about it.

Just had to E-scream, been a long road the last 6 fukking weeks! I know I have said it a thousand times but THANK YOU again for the all of the help, prayers, calls, snowblowing, donations, oil changes, and the trips home from the hospital at 7am during a snow storm! People here have done some amazing things for us already not listed as well.
