found out this week my dad has lung and chest cancer. stage 3, 1 is the weakest, 4 is terminal. aparantly it was manifesting for awhile, because he's pretty healthy, and has been feeling great. so to those of you who i talk to regularly, sorry i haven't been answering or calling you back, this week has been rough. whats the deal anyway, it started with you Yoosof, then the guy's damn grandkid is sick now, is it Crap on BCM?

I am so sorry to hear this. I hope the best for him and your family. You said he was pretty healthy, so I hope he fights this thing. Keep us posted, when you can. This group is so supportive, as you already know, so if you need anything, just ask.

Sorry to hear we lost a family member last year to pancreas cancer I hate cancer seems almost like there is no rhyem or reason as to who gets it and dosent

Man I am so sorry to hear this. Cancer sucks at any age. We will put him in our prayers along with our grandson and Yoosof. If ya want to talk I'm more than willing to listen.

Sorry to hear this, I just lost my grandmother earlier this month to the same form of cancer.

It's very aggressive. My thoughts are with you and your family!

My prayers go out to you and your family. In my small little world, my wife, her brother, my sister's husband, both my grandparents, the wife of the best man at my wedding, and two aunts have had cancer in the last 7 years. It surely is the plague of this century.

thanks all for the support! fortunatly, we have a huge "network" of friends, family, co-workers, etc who are pouring out for us. i guess what goes around comes around, we've always tried to be as helpful as possible. i believe very much in karma, so that goes along with it. yoosof's met my dad, he's a stubborn, tough man, we all are, so nothing goes off without a fight!
