Looking for advice on brands here, I realize prep is most important, but what brand of powder have you found to be the "best"? Any input as far as durability, ease of use, etc?

Have been mainly looking around, seems Hot Coat from Eastwood is pretty well liked. Any thoughts? Thanks-Dan

Don't use the oven you prepare food in.

I have the basic harbor freight gun that I purchased through columbiacoatings.com It's a gun. It works. I'm sure there is better guns out there.

I have used a few powders out there. My favorite by far is the powder sold through columbiacoatings.com. I have tried other powders from caswell and harborfrieght, but I really like the stuff from columbiacoatings.com. There mirror series powders really do have the highest gloss I have found. They have a very good selection also.

I use just a regular house oven and a propane infrared heater for larger parts.
