View Full Version : truck is broke again wtf

I was driving on hwy 45 yestarday. had the cruise set at 72 and all of a sudden the engine revved and the trans no longer pulled. I coasted about a mile and pulled over. No reverse no forward, nothing ( im guessing either the converter oe input shaft broke) so I grabbed my phone to call my wife to come get me and wtf my phone was dead. so after an hour somebody finally stopped and gave me stopped and let me use their phone so i got a ride home. I then called ats to let them no my trans broke again, and to tell them i would have it there at night. It is still under warranty so it should not be an issue getting it fixed, but they dont offer towin in the trans warranty so it was a huge pita to get it up on a trailer. to top it all off i got laid off monday. At least i dont have anywhere to go today. I am having one hell of a week.

Time for the 4l80e Seth. This sucks, especially considering your not even pushing what that trans is rated for....

That place must suck. Know another person that had a whipple on his sierra and goes through there trannies like toilet paper.

WTF 1500+ ft/lb wheel torque and pulls all last year....What could be wrong with that????
