If you go to crackberry.com there are some software upgrades for it also. Myles said he will come to you house and do it for you.

I am getting the new Curve 8900 this week. T-Mobile isn't worthy of the storm yet.
I'm surprised people feel t-mobile is worthy of them. :lol:

It's a neat phone, and I have fat fingers sometomes so I'll have to get used to it.

when texting on the phone keep your right thumb right of the "Y" and the left thumb left of the "T" this will keep you from erroring out when texting sounds dumb but try it. For example take your right thumb and try to hit the letter "r" six or so times......how many times do you hit "t"??? Did you remember to use the right thumb? LOL
I show people at the store all the time and thye use the left one. LMAO!
Go to options (which is a wrench on the main screen)>choose screen and keyboard>scroll to bottom and change the very bottom 3 options to their max>tap interval, hover period, swipe sensitivity. YOU WILL THANK ME IF YOU CHANGE IT!! Its a must have will make a huge difference.
Always end the applications as you use them. Pressing the end key is not enough be sure to press the blackberry key (black key with white dots) and scroll to bottom and choose close. This will help with application memory. let that get below 15mb and the device with start being stupid slugish and freeze.
Please download "Talklock" or "stormlock" for the phone. talklock is free....that will stop you from muting or activating speakerphone when having phoen against your cheek.

when using the browser on the phone there are 3 browsers. If you dont get he full page view you want you can choose blackberry, internet explorer, or firefox. Each will show/limit data differently based on what you want to view
One last tip: when in the browser if you are having a hard time clicking the little tiny links on webpages (like this one) then instead of having the little hand symbol at the bottom of the screen click the arrow its to the right of the history button and will act like a mouse on the screen as you move your finger across the touch screen

I actuallly just got home from hosting a data class for our customers. Once a month we get together to have custys come into our store and we sit down one on one with them to teach them their new phone and yes I got a storm guy. They are scheduled 1 hour and he had me for 2 and a half. Damn guy!! But I got every little bug fixed that he created that none of our other reps there could do. IM THA MASTAAAA LOL
dont forget to get the coolest case ever for that phone LOL

Can this phone use wifi if I don't get a cell signal? I don't see it one way or the other in the book

That's ok I still love it so far, did the screen/keyboard change deal, it is nicer:thumbsup Still have to get around the the other stuff.

download this from the phone. Its a beta game called marble storm. Uses the motion and accelerometer of the phone to keep the marble balanced and on the path like that old box game with the knobs on the sides where you had to keep the marble up without fallling thru the holes

you are always on 3G. Each major carrier is 3G these days and been that way since like 2005, att confusing people these days cause they do have some cities that have stupid fast speeeds.
The only thing to worry about is if you have the "1x" icon by data you arent getting anything. Thats with a little x as you will see a version of x all the time either big one or little. Sounds dumb but true
