Shooting for April for my POS neon to be done, I just couldn't muster finishing it last year. She will be out this spring/summer and I can't wait :thumbsup

I was thinking about putting full 3" all the way back to a 3" hollowed out Jap can but I saw some side exhaust and thought about it.

What I'm looking for is really the tips that taper down to a 3" round merge/collector so I can weld my exhaust on.

Something along the lines of a 2"x6" box cut on a 45 degree angle would look sweet, either I would mount it flush or have it stick out about a 1" or less on the drivers side just by the rear tire.

Check on e-bay, there has to be something like that. I've seen a few trucks setup like that.

I guess I don't know much about your neon but do you really need 3"?

From the looks of the avitar he is running a turbo. The less backpressure the better.

It's not a Monster turbo but ill be maxin it out, the motor can take it

im sorry but side exhaust in my opinion is friggin hideous..... unless its coming out of a front or rear fender!


just do 3in out the back of the car, you'll be happy!

Look for oval pipe, that should get you some clearance and the visual effect you're looking for.

You could probably check out the SRTForums and get a used one for cheap. Otherwise I think Maxfabb or Needswings makes one for the SRT-4 that would fit your car nice.

the maxxfab tucks under nice and tight with a oval tip. I personally don't like the round tip side exhaust, looks to low and looks out of place. the maxxfab is expensive but the quality is awesome. I takes a special person to like side exhaust on a srt4, it is LOUD, to say the least. Although when those harley riders come up along the side of you revving their bikes, I just deafen them and shoot flames.
