I moved to the Bayview neighorhood of Milwaukee this past summer. South west part of town. I love it. $650 a month for a 2 bedroom duplex upper with a garage. Four blocks from the lake. It's awesome, minus all the ****** democrats.

3ed ward or brewers hill are awesome, but expensive.

Try the area around 64th and Cleveland. Mostly Police and Fire live there.

There are a ton of apartments between 84th and 92nd around Bluemound rd south to West Allis line at Schlinger Ave. That area is nice but Tosa jog's in and out in that area to. so you need to watch street signs.

You must be smoking some good ass weed. While a nice apartment or condo will be expensive, those two neighborhoods are ******* slums. Plus good luck finding a place with a garage.

Looking at the garbage cans is the best way to tell what city you are in. Borders are not always along streets.

Very true. I grew up in that area so I know it well.

Yes there are lots of nice areas southwest side. I am off 51st and Howard area and its very, very quiet. I also work dispatch at MFD if you want to verify an address is in the city or not shoot me a PM and I can see if it gives me a runcard.(in the city or not)

I might have a line on a nice three bedroom upper duplex/Lower is quasi-vacant and will be for awhile with garage space for less than 850. Let me know if you might want to look at it. PM me for details.

City of Milwaukee or milwaukee County?

maybe take a look around the south east corner of 76th and center. When we were looking at houses it looked to be a nicer neighborhood. Our realtor said that that is where a lot of MPS teachers and cops choose to live. Right on the outskirts of tosa but still in Milwaukee. Or check between 92nd and 76th north of center and south of burleigh. I think there is a lot of apartment buildings in that area.

I used to live near 68th/Oklahoma, and it was city of Milwaukee, and decent residential areas all around there.

At least along Oklahoma, I think you have to get west of 92nd st before it's West Allis, and south of Howard before you're in Greenfield.

Not a lot of apartment buildings, but lots of duplexes and single family homes for rent (which you might see as more desirable).

Just about anywhere in districts 11 and 13 will give you a decent neighborhood. Out towards the edges will be the best. I had a relative (fireman) that lived around 22nd and Ramsey. Very nice.
I live near 60th and Cleveland nice as well. You can find rentals out in the 84th to 99th and Morgan area that's a great neighborhood.
