Holy sh|t just drove a GTO!!

My buddy and I just got back from the local Pontiac dealer that I bought my car from and the salesman that sold me mine became the sales manager and recognized me, and let us drive a new GTO. Barbados blue A4with blk leather interior. AMAZING!! This car does not feel anything like a GM product, so refined, quiet and smooth. The stereo is awesome and cranks(6 disc indash changer), the seats are like racing buckets with firm awesome side and leg bolsters and the rear seats are HUGE. My buddy is 6'1" and I fit fine in the back seat with over 3" of room between my knees and the back of his seat. Only complaint was the trunk space but hey it'll fit a few golf bags:thumbsup. The best part was skipping the dealer markup($5'g) and paying msrp which was fine with us, now he just has to wait for his color to come in so he can close the deal!!!:drool: :devil

Theyre a nice car to drive.If anyone is interested they is a black A4 at Foster on S27th,don't know if they're marking it up or not

Both dealers we went to here are selling for the sticker price of $33-$35, the M6 was only $300 les than the A4.

Wilde pontiac in waukesha has a silver a4, blue a4 , a yellow one not sure the trans on that, and a black 6 speed!

the yellow one at Wilde is a 6 spd and they have not let me drive any of them so there safe to buy!!

John Paul Greenfield Pontiac Has a Blue automatic, a Yellow Manual and a silver one that I dont remember if the sales man said it was an auto or manual. that one was sitting in the shop some where. The sales man tried getting me to buy one I told him I just bought a bike and wont be able to aford it. He told me that they will take the bike for trade in. I laughed at him and said yeah and lose my ass on it because you will pay off the bike but I will probally only get a $100 for trade in. The sales guy said yeah probally. Besides the bike would be a lot more fun then this car.

I like the new GTO's but If I am going to get a goat I would prefer to get my dream car 67 GTO.

my gto was at the dealership for less than 2 hours, it had 12 miles on it and they didnt even take it to get gas. I told them to not touch it :)

My buddy that runs the dealer in Fla said that a total of only 13 had been sold in Jan from Orlando to Miami but that they had never seen so many people swarm to just look at a car before.

What are they projecting to sell in the first year? I thought I read 20,000...

Well, I think the economy has a big play in that. We are seeing hard times and pepole just don't have the money to spend on toys.

True but the economy has been rebounding for a little while now, so hopefully assuming it continues this current model year should get more fun cars like the GTO made/sold :D.
