port blower, drop pulley size, exhaust, header, cam, larger heat exchanger, meth, tune,

with those mods alone he should be able to get a 100 hp... 30k sounds like bs

Also your talking about modding a car that already has 650HP to tap. It's not like dropping 30k into a 290hp camaro.

Still... 30k is BS.

Nah there aint no way in hell there is 30k in extras to get it there. Maybe 5G's in parts at best and the exhaust being the most expensive part of that. 18 psi on 6.2L and only making 705 seems off though... My junk made 693 on 15 psi with alot less motor.

Where in the fuck are you guys getting your info from? I saw nothing in the vid about a $30K expenditure, and if the engine makes 635 net HP, that's probably about 540 RWHP, assuming a 15% loss through the drive-line. So taking Tom's figure of $5K which seems pretty close unless labor at this shop is ridiculous, and a 165 RWHP gain, it really isn't all that bad. There are more than likely some other costs, such as fuel system mods that aren't mentioned in the video blurb, but you would have those for almost anything you would do to increase power at that level.

Tom you have a turbocharger, he has a PD supercharger. Apples to oranges. If this guy had the parasitic drag loss from the blower back, he'd probably be somewhere in the 750 to 800 RWHP range.
