Tried to go see it on the Ultrascreen last night. Sold out. Gonna try to go see it sometime this week..

I was VERY suprised that it was as good as it was. Most of the remakes are terrible but this time not so. Lots of scenes in the movie paid homage to the originals.

There were a few small things that I wasn't a fan of but overall I was pleased, I would definatelt recommend the movie.

not a remake. it's a new version, it wasn't bad at all. and they finally got Jason to be a big guy that could like run and stuff, not just lumber around like some big idiot

Is it like the 13th one or something, because the orig had the mom killing people. Just wondering why they just called it friday the 13th

It was pretty good lots of T&A like the original. Alot of subtle things from other 13th movies were in it also...

not a remake. it's a new version

so you're saying its new version of the old one...aka a REMAKE.


Definitely recommend seeing it on the Ultra Screen too guys :headbang

She was killing people in the beginning. It's a remake. Fact. It's starts over from the beginning. First his mom is the killer, then he has a sack on his head, and then he finds the hockey mask. It was just that the first three movies were condensed into 15 minutes. And they did a great job of it too.

I saw it on Fri and I LOVED it.

^^^ Werd.... It was a remake.

Just as exitspeed pointed out he again goes through the same motions that he did in the first three including finding a mask putting it on and seeing himself in the mirror (homage to the 3rd movie IIRC). Even the very last scene of this movie was an homage to an earlier movie scene.

just saw it tonight and felt it was quite cheesy and not worth the 9 bucks imo. and the ending ummmmm ok thats enough.
