Put it back together with fel pro 9333pt-1 / fel pro 8548pt-2 / or fms M-6051-B51. The 1011 head gaskets WILL NOT stand any kind of head movement or detonation. People are running the 9333 in 8sec forced induction cars on 30psi

I would get the head checked for cracks, And definatly a Resurface before I would Put It Together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atleast the pistons and block arnt junk like a certain corvette I know of.... :fire

imo i would want the head gaskets to give with detonation, its cheaper than other parts that would give if the gasket wont...

My buddies 9 sec 347 with a YSi runs autozone gaskets, every other gsaket leaked water... go figure...

Those permatorques (1011) are known to be nothing but problems in FI cars. I would run some graphites like I said before and you should have no problems for around the same money. Cometics take a different RA on the block and heads then standard head gaskets so they must be thought of early in the build.

i wasnt saying that, i was saying if you detonate id rather pop a head gasket than a piston, therefore i wouldnt want a "solid" headgasket
