Its actually the marauder motor in the machs, 57mm throttle body, still a 4 valve but diff than cobra even the 2001 ones. 355 gear in a solid rear. cobra brakes with 13 inch rotors up front with retro styling interior along with throw back styling exterior with shaker, chin spoiler, striping, tinted headlights.

My vote is a 03-04 termy or bullitt. Of course the LS1 car with minor mods would be faster than each and if your not too picky can get a decent one for under 10k provided you dont "HAVE TO HAVE" a trans am, those are holding value quite well.

None. 32V w/ 5 or 6 speed. I'm having a hard time finding any Cobras in the area that are on a dealer lot.

I drive past this place all the time. They've got a lot of muscle cars but a lot of them are hacked together. I can't help but equate it to buying a civic that someone tried to put an ebay body kit on - many of them just aren't solid cars.

Although, i was running with pullied, bolt on cobras with my cam only lt1 :rolf Most of them were running 12.0-12.4 and i was running 12.3's@114 with 368 rwhp.

I've been there. I was looking at a camaro. I was outside for looking at the cars 10-15 mintes, and noone came out. Then finally I went inside to get someone to ask some questions. And he was very rude and didn't know anything about the cars. Calling camaros firebirds. He even said something about a trans am ss??? The people there weren't helpful. I went somewhere else. Alot of the cars I looked at were very over priced as well. A lot of the cars also had problems, dents, scratches, etc. and not normal wear. I'd stay away from them imo. Maybe I was just there on a bad day. idk

No you are quite wrong. There have been several mach 1's that have hit 12.80's on sticky tires...stock. So it wouldn't take much at all to reach stock Cobra power levels. Even a non-intercooled centrifugal blower thrown on a stock mach will make more power than a stock Cobra.

May be so, i'm no ford expert. I do know a motor built for FI will stand up to much more boost and detonation than a stock N/A motor will though. Its all in what you prefer, some options will be better/cheaper than others. Back to the OP, is he even going to mod the car? lol. He didn't really say what he was looking for in the car. Just that it was from a dealer and was sporty.
