Definitely looks a lot more put together than the others!

Still have the AWD drivetrain?

Jason, the car turned out really sweet! Great job on the Evo 3 reincarnation!

Is it going to get a 4G63 or 4G64 at all?

I don't know if you can get your hands on a FWD trans that will bolt up to a 4G64 2002 Kia Optima 7-bolt engine (it takes a slightly different bellhousing than the 2G AWD), but if you want, I have a bare block w/ main caps, ready for machinework (without rotating assembly since I stole the crank for my Eclipse), but $100 and its yours! It is up in Green Bay right now at Beyond Redline. I might be going up there next week, and could bring it back down if you are interested.

It would require the standard coolant passage plugging (just like the 2G 4G64 7-bolt block), and uses a FWD bellhousing. You can bolt an Evo 4-8 cylinder head on it directly, and it uses the standard mix of 4G63 and 4G64 parts. As well, I still have a box of parts from the assembled motor that would go with the block, including all the timing belt stuff, pulleys, front cover w/ gears, water pump, oil pan, etc.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested (if it fits your application)!

Good luck with the project!
