1 lb of lean ground beef (or ground turkey, buffalo, venison, chopped steak, anything...)
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney
1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
1 (15 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
1 can chicken broth <==secret ingredient, shhhhhh
1 small can on green chiles
2 cups PACE (medium) picante sauce
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons of chili powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (resist adding more until the end)
* 3 (12-16 ounce) cans/bottles of beer (add three more cans/bottles for each person assisting you with the chili)

1) Open all the cans. If you're making a double batch, this step blows. So if there's an unopened beer nearby, open that too. Drink some beer.
2) Dump everything, except the meat, in a slow cooker and turn on HI. Mix well, while finishing off your first beer.
3) Brown the ground beef and drain when finished. Open and drink a new beer. Do not proceed to the next step until your second beer is finished.
4) Spoon the cooked ground beef into the slow cooker. Mix well.
5) After it has cooked some, add more salt and cayenne to taste if needed. Start on that third beer...

Let it cook 1or 2 hours setting the slow cooker to LO.

* Beer is not to be added into chili. This won't taste good. Trust me on this one.

Garnishes
shredded cheddar cheese
chopped cilantro
chopped green onion
sour cream

I hope you like it as much as I do! Enjoy!
