I rescued two turtles from someone that was giving them away. Their living conditions was terrible. It's a male Red Ear Slider about 5 1/2" in length. Very healthy, nice long front claws, and a huge tail. He's very active. I just don't have space to keep both of them.

My recommendation is at least a 50gallon tank, secured basking area, UVB & UVA bulbs, heater, proper filtration, etc... I'd be more than happy to help someone setup a tank for him.

He's free btw.

If you run out of options ask dude over at Hoffers, they had a huge not for sale enclosure with sliders in there last year.

Where exactly is Hoffers? He's free to a good home, school, or possibly pet store.

Nan, Hoffers is great and would likely take him.

He looks pretty healthy, I'd say a 50 gallon is the bare MINIMUM, I would suggest 100 gallon tank for him. Good luck
