Sweet mother of God! I would trade my Eclipse for that ANYDAY.

Hell, any model of engine that they are supplying in it would be an absolute blast to drive!

Either the 350HP turbo V6 in the superlight 1650# chassis, or the boosted LS9 in the 2100 chassis would be more than plenty to kill me. The smallest HP setup should be able to produce very low 10-second times, and the crazy S/C LS9 setup should be capable of running very low 9's. As well, these are cars that could potentially OWN a road course.

A sequential transmission is available! anyone who has driven a shifter kart can tell you this is the greatest thing to happen to road racing. I can almost hear the straight cut gear whine.

A sequential dogbox is the only way I would drive this car -- it is the only way that you could keep up with the transmission shifts, as I am expecting every gear will go very fast in this car with the big motor setup.

there are a lot of rumors floating around right now that those pictures may not be real.

also if you look in my engine bay you would scratch your head more than once at how they would be able to fit an 8, let alone a S/C 8 with a full tranny back there.
