yeah she is dirty. but it's a truck and don't fell like having my doors freeze shut overnight. lol she is running good. mileage is getting better the more i drive it. starting to look for an intake and maybe some exhaust.

You dont need a intake.... Just put a aftermarket drop in, in there and gut the box and silencer....

Ive seen them turn over 500rwhp with the stock intake no problem.

i thought about just the drop in and gut the bottom of the airbox. maybe that's what i'll do.

Monstr913

well if you cut out the bottom and the front of the box its not so bad most of the air comes from the front anyway...so if you leave the bottom in it protects from water and crap getting in there and the front should follow enough...although a full intake is less restrictive tube is bigger and smooth

yea did he tell you what he did that night when we were bleeding the pump, he left the turbo timer on and ran his truck on like 3 cylinders for a minute it was loud sounded like old tractor and covered his window in diesel...it was bad also his high idle was on for that minute...yea why didn't you advance his pump timing just a little? could have made more smoke that way

Ya i laughed at him and told him he was a moron. you cant really advance it mechanically like the old P-pumps, VP's are electronically adv off the chip. A guy i know (shane) via the interweb, (owns wickeddiesels.com) who most my parts come from along with luke's (uses his injectors and stg3 cp3), was working on a kit to change the advancment for more top end or low end for the vp pumps. it was a replacement shaft for some where in the pump and different key way. it was supposed to be user freindly but you had to pull the vp to do it. it kinda fell off the earth and havent heard much about it after he talked about it 5mo ago.
