What kindo engine you doing up? Saw you trying to get a set of alum. heads on chi that looked pretty serious. From the looks at it you converting a block to full roller or wa?

:thumbsup Im trying to keep most of the new setup low key...but i found even better heads then on Chi! More Cubes, better block, better parts.


Now Jim and I have to figure out how to put some Rubber out back or else it's going to be a death trap :wooo

Actually she is a German Wiredhair pointer, but we lucked out and got the rare version with her having non wired hair. All the male pups in the liter had wireing hair and the girls had short hair. But both parent pups had wired hair? Wierd!!

We have another pup that is the same way as her (same mom of the other) and we had another with the wired hair. I love them alL!

Block should be done this week, Stroker kit is here and looks amazing. YOu should feel how lite this pistons are :D

Should be ready to be put together in 2 weeks....just waiting on my cam to get grinded!

how much the car weigh with that setup? I'll have a little more displacement and should be about 3150lbs with me. So im excited :headbang

The car had no interior back then and the heads were cast iron Roush 200s, but it weighed 3040 with me in it.

The heads flowed no better than a set of stock twisted wedges, and it had a small hydraulic roller cam in it. The best time I got out of it with an out of the box carb, no adjustments at all, was 11.21 @ 120mph. I know there was a lot more in it, but I moved on to a different motor the next year.

The motor that is in my car now I have had for a while. When I did my first blothru setup 4 years ago I used my current motor with a little more cubes and a little less cam, and that went a best of 11.0 @ 123 N/A. It was just a baseline test, borrowed carb/blower cam, converter, and compression. I just wanted to see how fast it would go without the blower if the blothru bullsh!t didn't work! ;)

I don't think you will have any problems getting it into the 10s at that weight. (It obviously depends on how serious you go with compression, heads, and cam as to how deep. Of course suspension also! :D)

Well this car is going to be My Dad/I street car. So im not too worried about suspension. Although i will probably look into doing some work on it next winter.

I wanted to build my own 9.20's car but with the economy the way it is, and im getting to the age for a house im going to do the smart thing and save for the house instead, so i will enjoy this for awhile.

Although i will say my heads flow 305-315 @ 600 lift, My custom Cam is being grinded right now and should be in the 610 lift area. :D

Chad I still call dibs on a ride the day its broke in :) and of course you know im more than down to give you a ride down the backroad's we left black marks on all last summer :) remember when we were doing a datalog pass and that cop was there just as i slowed down and busted a U turn. LOL
