Ok, I have a plan in mind to try and give my car a little bit sportier look. The only thing I can't decide is if it will look good on a white car. I would be adding the Black rear trim between the taillights, the Marauder Spoiler(painted White) and having the trim below the taillights painted black. In front Im gonna finish blacking out the headlights to match the Marauder corners, and the Chrome trim strips will either be removed completely or I could order them in black. Of course the Vent visors and splash guards are gonna be gone also.

Here is a pic of what I want to do. this is another member on crownvic.nets car 2K4 DTR. I wish it was mine.

What do you guys think Yay or Nay. Thanks :)

I think it would look good. Do you have the black grille, if not I would do that too if it was mine.

try to get it photoshopped. It looks good on the maroon one. I think the SS wing and dual tips would look good for sure on your car. not sure how the black "berger" trim would look on the white though. maybe a gunmetal would be a nice contrast color instead of black.

Paint and spoilers aside, nothing is going to do more for your cars look than a set of springs. Pork's impala is a prime example of how a cars stance can set it apart from the grocery getters. Ok, maybe his car is a little low but you get where I'm going.

Im game to photoshop it if anyone knows how to do it. I don't even have the program, if someone wants to try it I can post up pics of my car.

I'd love to lower it just a tad, im just waiting for the extended warranty to expire before I make any major changes. Besides that its my daily driver and im not so sure how well it would do in the snow once lowered.

For a sportier look, you need racing stripes. LOTS of racing stripes.

Then, a small sutble spoiler will not do much for you. I'd go with something at least 4 feet high.

Then add the obligatory stickers and your set.

My impala was lowered 2 inches for almost a year before I bagged it, rode and handled great :thumbsup

Thanks Shooo!

What is it you are trying to accomplish? I can Photoshop anything you want. I have the blackout panel on the back of my Mustang (White). What the panel does is make the rear end look shorter from trunk lid to tail pipes, gives a lowered look visually. I also lowered my car 2". Painting the side mirrors body color gives it a higher end look as well. White cars look great with tint. You can't really add chrome to a white car unless it is all steel, but if you add polished aluminum it looks good.

Just let me know what you're aiming for and I'll chop something.

1320Pny,

Here is my car now. If you could just black out the center panel and chrome trim below the taillights and maybe try changing the chrome strip in the bumper to black. Otherwise I might just remove that totally. I already have the dark tint and the blacked out grille. I have the all black mirrors now, but painting could be a possibility.

I think the black panel would tie into the black trim I have going through the whole car.

if you want a c-vic to look sporty, just add about 7 antannae to your trunk lid. Do that, and nobody will want to mess with you.

Tom,

I like the chrome pieces.. On the white it looks nice..

I think the black looks good on that maroon car but I think that is because it is a darker color..

I vote you still get the wing.. That would wake up the rear end.. Then maybe a set of rims.. The ones you have now are decent but I think there are others that would give you that 'pop' you are looking for..

Edit: For examples..

Here is one that is also white.. Now don't tell me this thing don't look mean.. And all it has done is rims.. These rims are a bit extreme but I think you will get the point now rims make the car..

slap some 20"s on it, paint the door handles white, put a hot blond under the steering wheel and bada bing!

Thats the only part I hate about my car being an 2003. I can't run any of the wheels Twig posted. Ford changed the offset to almost the same as a 05+ mustang but didnt give the clearance to run anything deepdish. So I am basically stuck with the boring flat faced wheels like I have now.

I would do the trim under the tail lights white but leave the bumper strip chrome, add spoiler from the Marquis Maurader, Lower 2 inches, put spun steel wheel covers on it, you know the kind that salt flat racers use. I say steel instead of aluminum because the steel ones are a wee bit shinier. Tint windows a bit and black out the front grille. A couple of blue stripes over the hood, roof, and deck lid, ala Mustang, would spice that expanse of white sheet metal.

Black paint over "plastichrome trim" and Maurader Spoiler (White). Tint the rear window 30%. Bad #$$!
