is WI DOT cracking down?

I got a big attidude when calling Madison DOT and even threats. I live in IL for a little bit but I dont want my cars titled all over the place or to deal with the IL DMV (which sucks worse than here to get a car to be a show car).

They are giving me crap about the 87 when I'm years away from getting collectors plates. They threatened me with fines and stuff. I want everything in my WI address and for some reason they have a problem with that. I have a WI address a WI phone #.

It pissed me off so much because I put problably 5 miles on the stupid car this year and its not worth the hassle.

Anyone want a turbo regal?

I didnt ask about the fine .... I did not want to make it sound bad.

They said they are cracking down on the IL guys that own property up there but live here... but thats not how I am, infact I will problably buy a place in Genoa. I am just living here for work for awhile. Almost like a college student. The car only had 5 miles on it and would pass emissions.... I am not trying to screw the EPA with this car. (its not that hard to get a turbo regal to pass emissions).

But then I started to say that I'll take it to the stupid test to not have to deal with this ... and they told me not to if its not in Milwaukee ....
