we have an SLR in our shop right now that the guy bought $12,000 worth of snow tires for so he could drive it year round.

I've seen a ROUSH Taurus in bad weather which is much more rare than a Mustang.

That's what I like to see!

Some people are either stupid or have too much money. But, I will say that cars today hold up better to conditions than the cars of the past. I still wouldn't drive a summer car in winter, but some people do. Look at all the convertibles driving around, you know those tops are getting hammered with salt as well.

I have been seeing so many Mustangs being driven through the winter.....Just today I saw no less than 5-6 of them. They were filthy with salt and roadslime. But they'll be just fine after a wash, I suppose.

The S197 Mustangs have terrible panel construction for winter driving. If you look under the hood there are a ton of crevices for salt and dirt to deposit. Same thing with the door panels and the trunk lid. I can't imaging this car lasting much longer than the payments when driven year round.
