Being from MN and growing up in the Mississippi river valley you get to see a lot of eagle's and they are very cool to watch. I was back there visiting the other weekend and I saw one on the side of the road just sitting there. Very beautiful bird!:thumbsup

This is the area I grew up in and they get a lot of eagle's that winter in this area.

Yea I lived in MPLS for several years, got so used to seeing
them I was surprised we didnt have many here. Traveling
down towards Pepin in the summer I never knew the numbers of birds that overwinterd in the area.

I love the Wabasha area, good snake hunting in the bluffs.

Wabasha, Cool eagle center there. On the south end of Lake Pepin where the river narrows and the water doesn't freeze because of the increased current.
They have a couple captive eagles that will never fly again. You can get up close with them.
It's cool when the feed them.
