I just picked up an 02 VW GTI 1.8 Turbo.

How do i hook up a boost gague.

I have no clue where to put the wires?

The wires can be drawn right from the headlight switch (push in and turn right on the headlight switch and it'll pull right out)

There is a vaccum line right by the valve cover that's easy to insert a T valve into and run the vaccm line inside.

mechanical boost gauge gets hooked up inline off the vacuum lines. usually rubber or plastic.

Never hooked up a electrical boost gauge.

Liquid TT gauge. Coolest boost gauge in history. Yes, they have adapters for a gti too.

Did you buy the gauge new? It should have directions.. but really any 12V source will work. Probably wanna go with something that's on the accessory line of things so it's not on alllll the time.

Have fun with that motor.. I was gonna start toying with the 1.8t in the womans GLS New Beetle but it looked like it was gonna cost more than it was worth.

If you need help with the gauge, let me know.. I've put em in, never on your car( a GTI) but I'm sure it won't be hard.
