Anyone else watching? Feedback on sales or cars you like.

Lots of cheap buys so far. That T-type seemed like a hell of a nice car for $15K

their website is doing a great job keeping current with sales numbers for the cars. Though it's slow.

I was thinking if the market stays shitty and I really want to get rid of the car I may do that, ship it out,buy a spot, stay with friends and sell it.

Tuesday, Wednesday and late Sunday are the days when cars can actually be a good deal for average Joe's like all of us. Then you have the Friday and Saturday "I'm richer than you and I don't care what I pay". I have several friends that have gone many times and they all say it is a must for any car guy. We all meet at Sal's in Elkhart Lake on the saturday of Scottsdale and bet on hammer price, drink, eat and bench race. Road race bench not 1/4 mile, sorry. Anybody interested in going along send me a pm.

Unless you have something mega rare, I'd stick to the other auctions like Mecum. BJ Scottsdale is all no reserve, and their fees are so high I don't think it would be worth it IMO. Mecum's fees are way more reasonable. If I couldn't sell mine on ebay, I'd try it thru them.

B-J website is locked up. I wanted to see the first 40 lots they didn't show on tv.

You'd think with the 18% they make off each car plus fees they'd be able to get a server just once that could handle the traffic.

I was able to check online just now...

Usually I don't pay too much attention to BJ but with a bunch of the GM specialty/prototype cars going up I'm curious to see what some go for.

I was surprised to see that even BJ is hurting this year. Ron Pratt isn't letting anyone down though. Saw him buy a car for three times what I thought it was worth.

The Dale Intimidator is pretty sweet. I haven't liked front drive GM in 20 years. It is pretty sweet though.

Lingenfelter '94 Firebird. I'd give $21 for it, but I'd keep my Stang for $27. It was a bad-a ride though.

I know of a couple cars that were bought already for killer prices....a 64 Dodge 330, radio delete, with a Dale Reed wedge motor and a 65 Coronet, restored roller

I was getting really annoyed at Speed's coverage last night. Everytime a thirdgen F-body was up they went to commercial and they skipped it. They chose to show the same shot of the concourse for like a minute in their last segment instead of showing the blue twin turbo TA. They cut back just in time to see it rolling off.

Meanwhile show wall to wall coverage of the painted black mid 90's Caprices.
