Have any of you guys gotten the intake oil leak repaired? If so, how much did it cost? I MAY do it this spring with a couple of days off but rather some an actual mechanic do it.

Ive done it 2 times. It's somewere in the 500 range i belive shop rate. Its really not that hard to do it yourself. 4 hours im sure you could have it done if you turn wrenches.

man, it's so simple it hurts compared to paying out the ass for a mechanic to do it.

Speed Inc. anyware really. Get the felpro ones.

You shouldn't need TB gaskets. Just take all the harnesses off and unbolt the intake manifold, it should come off with a little prying. Then clean everything off really good, and slap it back on.

Sounds great, I will definately be doing that then myself. Then i'll just need to borrow my dad's power washer and some industrial solution and clean off the Exxon Valdez spill that is my moms driveway!! hehehe :rockwoot:
