( 1/2/09 to 1/6/09 ) Vacation went like this ................
New Years day me and my buddy Josh decided to grab some beers at a local Cudahy Bar :alcoholic we were just going to have 2 beers and leave but that did NOT happen. Got at the " Whiskey River " around 9-ish and left @ bar close. Met a cool ass bartender and a cool little bar.
Bro picked us up around 3:30 and dropped us off, jumped on the plane and slept all the way to NC :rolf
While we were walking to our gate I heard " Brad Brad Brad " I'm like WTF who the hell is calling my name. An old friend of mine I graduated HS from was there waiting to leave to Jamacia :stare what the crazy part is I just added him on facebook 5 days prior to bumping into him. We couldn't get over bumping into each other at a airport.
Jumped on my plane and slept all the way to PR :thumbsup
Arrived to a sunny day with high humidity and around 84 degrees of LOVELY SUN :drool:
Saturday was a Live DJ party at there central park, around 20,000 people were there with the same mindset. Party, Dance, Drink and just have fun :thumbsup I did not see one fight or argument. Its unreal to have 20,000 people and see JOY in everyone's face. If this were a HIP-HOP event there would be 10 dead and 500 arrests. Tell me Hip-hop does not rot our youths mind psshhhh yea right ok ok lets move on .................
We got at the park around 6pm and stayed until 4am, got back to the hotel with sore legs and puffy feet from walking, dancing, jumping and whatever else I was doing :banana1:
Sunday - Drink allot, relax and people watch :drool:
Monday was a Exclusive event at our hotel, around 8,000 people were there to see some of the Big name DJ's in Electronic music. It was Bob Sinclair, Dirty South and Josh Wink :headbang
This started at 8PM and lasted till 4am, once again my legs and feet were killing me :rolf :banana1:
Both Saturday and Monday music events displayed some of the Best sound and lighting I have ever seen in my life. The sound system was so loud and full of base if you were to look at your beer it would create the ripple effect !!!!!!!!! ******* NUTS !!!!!!
Puerto Rican people are some of the nicest people I have met, there very low key and easy going. Pretty much the caribbean life in a nut shell :thumbsup
My buddy josh made a great comment down there its cool to " Dress up and look classy " instead of wearing some shit ass g-unit clothes and expect to get into a nice place.
Everyone there speaks dam good English and you can't tell who knows the language or not, people thought I was Puerto Rican. Thats how mix and different there culture is. I wish we had that back here in the States to some degree :thumbsup
Over all I will never forget this trip, the amount Classy women, friendly people, large amounts of Alcohol and Incredible sound and light shows burned a imprint in my mind :headbang
