Does anyone do any silhouette or other pistol/rifle leagues locally? I would love to get into a league this spring/summer. Just looking for another excuse to get out and do some shooting.

Another board member and I go to the .22 rifle silhouette league at hartland gun club. great fun! open to the public

got to see how bad my offhand was compared to MUCH better people than I am...but it is a blast and I hope to do it more.

Back around 95 my wife and I were in a PPC league down at shooters in Racine. Haven't had time lately but do want to do something like that or IDPA again.

My uncle is pretty big in the metalic silhouette pistol shooting. They have several scales for different caliber guns. I can get the info on the ranges and the name of the club itself if your interested.

Check out this site http://www.ihmsa.org/

Wisconsin is in region 5, if you email the director he could get you info for local stuff around here, otherwise I can get it from my uncle next week when I see him.

If your into large hand guns and hand cannons this is the thing for you. You shoot at 1/4" thick steel plate targets and you have to have enough punch to knock them over.

Dude... how long have you been going there?
I was doing the indoor centerfire pistol league there for a few years, up until about 2-3 years ago. I'd shoot trap there every now and then, too.

Going there WAS a blast!

Try this link, and hit news and events on the left. I have done stuff here in the past. People are very friendly, and you will have a good time. Consider their pistol league.

I found this place the other night when I was searching online. Looks like a very nice facility. Lots of options of shooting and league stuff. Thanks!
