Looking to get my Viper's front faschia painted and some cracks and stone chips repaired, etc. Anyone have recommendations as far as specific paint products, "clear bras", kryptonite, whatever so the thing looks good and is as chip resistant as possible?

Specific body shop recommendations are welcome as well. Looking for a good color match, good product, chip resistant results at a fair price!

Car Craft in Hartland.

Ask for Keith, I hear he's a good guy, even if he owns a Grand National ;)

or PM "GRNDL"... same guy, hahaha

After you get the touch up work done, call Sid (Sid Did It) for the clear bra. He does a great job with install, has a certified 3M guy doing it for him. Otherwise, Scott from Blackout also deals with the 3M clear bra stuff.

It really is awesome stuff!

Anyone have numbers for these guys/places?

What does the clear bra actually look like? Is it truly clear like looks pretty much like the paint?

Well there is always a decent chance that I blow the launch or miss a shift.

Otherwise, my rear faschia is still in pretty good shape should look pretty nice from back there....

It does look like paint - because it's so clear. The only way to usually tell that it's there is right at the edges (either from wax or dirt that collects on the edge).

Sweet that is exactly what I am looking for - something that will protect it but look just like the factory paint.

Those clear bras look really good. Doesn't ruin the look of the car at all. Can be a pain to put on tho
