Aww, thats just a baby turbo for a V8, there puttin those on Buick V6s.....:durr Would make a nice 1000HP Street Car Turbo. Them turbos aren't all that great are they....:shades

Short Story, 5 years ago in a California shop I saw a 275 cube SBC with a 92 (?) single turbo make 1200hp at 6500 RPM, back fired and peeled the intake wide open, they were expecting 1500hp @ 8000 RPM or so, They were thinking it was a injector harness issue (customer supplied). The builder thought 800 hp at pump gas boost level wouldn't be a problem....:stare

Ya, them turbos aren't all there cracked up to be.....

Very cool Jon, Post a picture when you guys get it in the car....:thumbsup

I know its a baby turbo ;)

The neat thing about this car is that if you come down to the cruise spots down here you'll see it and you might catch it driving on 94 to the track ;) Anyone can build race cars this will still be very streetable (compared to similar ET range cars)

How about that guy from "super chevy" (IIRC) that built the small-block chevy (I forget the ci, but less than 300 IIRC) with a single turbo to put out 650hp on pump gas and power his land yacht impala to 25+mpg? and IIRC they ended up getting 32mpg on a couple of occassion with more dedicated tunning.
