View Full Version : 6 disc in dash radio problem

My 2003 S10 has a factory in dash 6 dish radio, its not the bose, its the one just below the bose. About a month ago I took all the CDs out to take them with me on a trip, since then the CD function does not work at all. You hit the load button and nothing. Any ideas what to do to fix it ?

hit the dash board until it does work??? Thats real strange. did you try just puting a cd in the thign with out hitting the load button?

Yup, tried ramming one in there and it wouldn't take it, then again it was one of my GF country CD's so maybe it just didn't like it, lol. When I get around to it Im going to try disconnecting the battery to see if maybe that resets something.

Not sure if anyone cares, but if this happens to you, just disconnect the battery for a little while, and when it powers back up everything works fine. I finaly got around to doing it last night.
