The video quality is quite good but how much of a pain is the manual focus with the vid?

Nick

I think you are able to refocus automatically by hitting the trigger each time you need it to refocus. Just repeatedly hit the button and it will do it if needed. I'll have to play with it.

So my master flash (Sigma DG-500 Super) that controls my other speedlight (flash) for secondary lighting does not work with my new camera. So I have to improvise a bit in my kitchen.

Here is my setup...

Here are two samples I thought were fairly good. The rest were VERY unflattering considering I don't have a makeup and hair dresser ready to do me up at a moments notice. I wanted the eyes more in focus, but it was hard with the remote trigger and having to position myself manually.

I seem to recall reading about some Sigmas having issues. Does it just not fire at all? What mode are you shooting in?

Nick
12-29-2008, 08:42 PM
Yeah it won't fire at all when in the hot shoe. After a few searches many others are just finding out the same thing. Time for 2 more pocket wizards. LOL
