Well I'm in maryland right now so I cant exactly look for myself. But I'm wondering if you guys may know. Does any1 know of any junkyards localy to the milwaukee area that have any LT1/LS1 camaros or firebirds. I need the rear disc brake assembly off one of them without traction control.

This will be prolly be your best and only bet for finding that. LT1 and LS1 rear calipers ans brackets are diff from each other. Not gonna be many local yards that have late model f bodies.

Those don't seem to be in WI.
Might try Firebird City, between Milw and Madison.
Phone # was 608-883-2338 or 414-588-2473.
I'm told they have lotsa stuff, haven't used myself (knock on wood, I've got a 2002).
Good luck.

Well the setups pop up on ebay every now and then, and usualy end around 65-100 bucks. But sometimes there abs and not and I dont always get a chance to find the right one and when I do the auction has like an 1hr left.

Oh well I'm gonna check out that junkyard website, and see what I can find.

I talked to Firebird City today... They only do 3rd gens, no 4th... It would be nice to know all the Junkyards around here that are pick and pull, then I would just call those ones to see what they have. I need parts.... :(

Thanks for the info, I was not aware. If I was in your shoes, I'd start off looking at salvage yards in Janesville - with the GM plant there, those bastages get all the cool discounts, and buy the best cars. I know there are more Firehawks there than in any other Zip Code in the state, and I'd assume the same holds true for other F-bods.
If the salvage yards down there don't have more F-bods than any other, I'm sure they'll know where else to tell ya to look.
Good luck.
Around Madison, Schmidts used to be pull yourself, but they're not exactly bright bulbs.
Chiefs on Broadway in Monona was OK a few times.
