I'm hating it, but shoveling snow is pretty damn good exercise. I really like that part. I usually end up a whole lot more fit during winter because of it, but I'm seriously longing for a hot summer night and a long, hard drive in my Camaro right about now.......and yes, I see how I worded that, and I am prepared for the filthy comments that may result, LOL!!

yep....I think we are ahead of pace to set another record this winter....fuggin great. Its already a worse winter if you ask me. Most of Dec. has been way colder than normal, lots of snow so far and lots more on the horizon. Sh1t at this rate, our summers will be July and August :(

I had heard one of the meteorologist say that while we're in the same type of weather pattern that gave us the tremendous snowfalls last year, they didn't expect the pattern to hold...instead, it'd shift sometime in Jan, giving us a milder winter and hopefully an earlier spring.

As with anything...enjoy while it last. Bitch if it's still here in march.

Perfect time to find out my old snowblower now goes through a whole crankcase of oil faster than it goes through a whole tank of gasoline. Fucker locked up at the end of the driveway this morning. Pulled the dipstick and it was dry. Just checked it a few weeks ago before first snowfall and it was full... no leaks either. I check oil on my stuff but shouldn't have to more often that I fill it up with gas. Filled er back up and she ran again but she's knocking like an old diesel now.

Guess I'll just keep adding oil and Run 'er til she blows for good.

Its coming......Category 5 for you guys down there?

http://johndee.com/snowcover/midsnow.gif

The next Colorado low then looks to spin in from the central Plains and will arrive in the Midwest by later tomorrow into tomorrow night and Friday. The models are good agreement on the track and the snowfall totals with this event. There may still be some minor tweaks to the details, but it is look like the main rain/snow line will run from around Omaha to the far northern Chicago suburbs to around Detroit. It looks like solid Cat 4 snows will occur in these areas and some locales may even see Cat 5 type storm conditions, especially across the southern ½ of WI and into the southern ½ to 2/3rds of lower MI.

Lies. I saw one at 4:05 this morning. She was walking down the middle of Atkinson at about 28th street. I'm going to bed. It's gonna be busy at work until this gets cleaned up; just in time for more snow.
