Out of the hundreds of members there's gotta be a skilled person working in any field imaginable. Problem is some people don't know who does what ?
In the general section a roofer is needed and a few days back a car sales man was needed.
Thoughts ?
Or would that be breaking the commercial rules ?

I think most people are scared to open up the YELLOW PAGES and shoot a dart at it. I think car guys/gals would prefer to stick with other car guys/gals for other work. People who take the time to dump money and keep there car clean 90% of the time produce quality work.

If search fails, people can always post what they are looking for.

alot of people look for referrals from people we know rather than yellow pages because at least we can trust them. a referral forum would end up becoming a poofest with people advertising but if someone posts up looking for a specific type of help then that person could post up or PM them with their services. I went to you because I heard good things and trust your opinion not some shlep in the yellow pages.

I think the ask for what you need and have people give you their opinions is a better idea.

True True, it would turn into a PooFest. Just a thought but yea I agree this site could do without one.
