I was on my way to work this morning in the KIA after a quick stop to pick up coffee a a local speedway.
i pulled out and had to stop for a red light. about 2 seconds later i looked up and seen a pick up truck coming towards me pretty fast and i new there was no way he would stop in time .
sure enough he blasted into me hard enough to make my full 20oz coffee cup flip out of the cup holder then bounce off the seat and right in my lap."ouch" also pushing me completely through the intersection
so i mopped the coffee off my crouch and when out to see the damage
i seen his truck first and the whole steel chrome bumper was pushed in and the grill was smashed.so i thought the KIA would be totaled and there wasn't even a scratch on it :wow
so i look at the guy and said my KIA just kicked your ford's ass he didn't laugh tho

yeah it does have a spare tire mounted to the back with a vinyl cover on it . but that didn't even appear to have made contact.

That's what I'm wondering too. An F250 as messed up as described should have made mince meat out of a Kia.

Glad to hear your ok man and thats great you wont have any hassle out of it. I wonder what gen the F250 was ? Maybe it was one of the ghey F150 style light duty F250's ?

Just in case, take your Kia to the dealer and have them check for things like alignment and stuff or bent stuff underneath. Take yourself to the doc to check you out too.

I'm betting there's more damage to the Kia than you think.

You got that call too.....there were several customers who caled me and asked if I had any of them on the lot, as they are indestructable.....

id have the vehicle looked at if I were you.......frame bends and out of wack alignments can sometimes be hard to tell. An example, My parents had a 90 plymouth horizon that hit the fender flair against a stoplight pole doing 30 mph when I was in my teens. When the fender flair hit the metal light pole it bent the frame and it wasnt apparent untill it got on the frame streghtener.....that was what caused the car to be totaled.....get it checked......I wouldnt be surprised if the area behind the tire is all messed up eigther
