Had my car on the dyno today. Made 500whp@5700 rpm & 497.3tq@4528rpm, but was showing 14psi. My intake pipe was a little cockeyed so we trimed it so it would line up better. Next pull it made 437whp@4600 rpm pegging my meter. I have a bigger meter at home I should have brought it with me.

Not bad #'s but I will go back next month with the other meter and hopefully make around 550whp.

You made 63 less h.p. with the intake lined up better?

yeah it made less boost but moved more air so the meter pegged out sooner. The 437hp was at 4600rpm and the 500hp was at 5700rpm.
I don't understand it all really but it pegged out sooner and the car went lean and the way the dyno graph is layed out is hard for me to decipher.
But to me it looks like the pull to 4700rpm made the same power as the pull to 5700rpm at the same rpm.

It's all the Damn pro m meters fault...

I'm guessing the ECM pulled timing when the MAF pegged from the increase in air flow.
