Lets make a list of who owns what....lets say anything 1987 or older (to include those with GNs) Feel free to post a photo of your car also.
Who has what? What are your plans? Should we try and organize a gathering soon?

Will be putting in a new 318 this spring perhaps...nothing fancy. Just a higher compression, fresh-long block. Maybe a larger cam and home ported heads (nothing wild...just some basic shaping/radiusing) to go with the new 3.90/sure-grip diff I've got for it. Just hoping for a solid low 14's I guess, lol.
4 Wheel disc brakes might be a new addition this spring too. :thumbsup

Basically my plans are to put on as many miles as possible. Do the hot rod powertour from madison to detroit then drive back from there. Probably take the ferry back. My dad put the 452 back in while I was gone at school and it snowed the night before I got home so did not get a chance to drive it with the motor in.

Yes we do! At least I like seeing project cars even if they need some work.
My "classic" cars...even though most don't consider them classic. They are in the bastard era between classic muscle and modern muscle.
86' Monte SS:
http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp358/PWB23/1986%20Monte%20Carlo%20SS/IMG_1379.jpg
Haven't done much to it in a few years, but plans call to get the 200-4r built up, possibly a ram-air fiberglass hood and a little bit of fine tuning (and drag radials) to try and crack 12's.
87' Monte LS:
http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp358/PWB23/1987%20Monte%20Carlo%20LS/IMG_2127.jpg
Future plans include a 2" steel cowl hood (soon), new paint someday down the road after that, some fine tuning this winter and work on the fuel system. Also to get the A/C working again. With its current setup it *should* be a low 14 or even high 13 second car, which is fine with me as its more of a cruiser.

Here's a couple pics of my '79 Malibu from the 'Grove last summer. Actually, I was parked next to Yellow Wagons Biscayne at McDonalds awhile back and it's because of that car it's still tan. Someday I might change the wheels and paint it black, but it's keeping it's factory paint for awhile. I also have a '91 Z28 5-Speed for the wife-she says the Malibu is too fast to get groceries :thumbsup

It IS cool with the gravestones! The car looks kinda sinister, so the "Halloween-ish" theme works very well. That cemetery is awesome, Calvary Cemetery, that is. I was going to take pics of my Camaro there this year. Old black muscle cars and graveyards look awesome together!

Make sure you send for your plates during winter, you end up having to wait 6-12 weeks for them to send them to you from Madison.....and the DMV cancels whatever plates are currently on your car without informing you first. This happened to me, and I got pulled over with the car a few times because the plates were no longer valid. NOT fun.

No...it is not a "collector" car:chair:
Well......I guess there's some potentially hurtful gray-area there......is it a "classic collector car?" No, admittedly not......but she clearly loves it and put effort into it, so I guess, why not? Remember, way-back-when, Corvairs, Falcons, Gremlins, etc. were NOT considered "cool" either, and now people seem pretty fond of them. Personally, and I'm not shy about my opinions at all, I want to see "true" classics at a car show, like Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs, 442's, 50's era "finmobiles"........but.....if someone really sees their baby as worth it, well....go ahead....get your specialty plates and rock out, lol! :thumbsup
