I've admitted 10,000 times already that I was negligent to not check it all the time. Wasn't expecting it to the large amount of oil that it did. Seriously. How would you feel if it happened to you, and it was some mean joke for three years? I shouldn't have to deal with past mistakes that I took care of and affected nobody but me three years later the fact. I've completely changed my driving habits, and in the last 25,000 miles, the car has only needed about 1/2 a quart between oil changes, not an oil consumer like it used to be.
