The Rena XP4 continues the tradition of excellence offered by the earlier versions of the Rena Filstar series but with a more powerful motor and added filtration options. With a powerful flow rate of 450 gallons per hour the Filstar XP4 will work on the largest aquariums. The unit features longer lengths of flexible tubing to accommodate the demands of larger sysms, 8 separate media chambers for maximum filtration options.

This unit is missing a few plastic adapters that came with it new, but comes with 10 feet of new tubing and is ready to run.

Depends what your using it for. I would say for a salt water tank it would be good up to 260 gallons. For turtles, 125 gallons.

Hell I have one of these too.... bump for an awesome filter system. And I never clean my salt water set up....never....just add water once in a while.

Depends what your using it for.

That would be a great filtration system if a guy was gonna
grow....well we'll call them "herbs" in gravel for medicinal
purposes...

Dam man this is tempting!!!! I was looking at an XP1 or 2. Is it new? Is all the filter media there?

Doesn't come with filter media, and its been used for about 4 months. This would be a great filter for your sliders Nan. Use 4 pieces of course foam, 4 pieces fine foam, 2 sheets ultra fine, some lava rock / ceramic rings, and some plastic balls to have a MINT setup :) I haven't had to clean my other one yet, its been running for well over a month and still has GREAT flow. I might pull the baskets and give everything a rinse down today to see how the foam pads are doing.

If you have it I'll probably swing by and get it this weekend.
